Host Terms & Conditions
Hamilton Day is a city-wide celebration presented by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce that promotes local businesses, organizations, attractions, events, experiences, tours, markets, sales, and community activities taking place throughout Hamilton on the first weekend of November.

Host Responsibility
A Host (Event Partner) is a business, organization, institution, community group, or individual that independently plans and operates an event, activity, promotion, experience, market, tour, sale, or activation promoted as part of Hamilton Day. The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce acts solely as a promotional platform and does not organize or operate Host activities.
Host Responibilities & Cancellations
Participation in Hamilton Day is voluntary. Hosts are solely responsible for the planning, operation, staffing, safety, accessibility, permits, insurance, legal compliance, and overall management of their activation. All Hamilton Day-promoted activities are independently owned and operated by their respective Hosts, who assume responsibility for all associated costs, revenues, obligations, liabilities, participant inquiries, complaints, refund requests, and disputes.
Should a Host be unable to proceed with a registered activation, they must notify the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce as soon as possible so that promotional materials, event listings, and participant communications can be updated accordingly.
Right of Refusal
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to decline, remove, or discontinue a partnership with any organization, business, group, or individual whose activities are deemed inconsistent with the goals of Hamilton Day or the policies, mandate, and values of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
Communications, Privacy & Copyright
By registering as a Host, you consent to receive communications from Hamilton Day organizers by email and social media using the contact information provided. Information collected may be used to administer and promote Hamilton Day and will not be sold to third parties. Hamilton Day names, logos, graphics, and promotional materials remain the property of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. Approved Hosts may use designated Hamilton Day assets to promote their approved activation. By submitting content for promotional use, Hosts confirm they have the necessary rights to do so.
Limitation of Liability & Acceptance
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, its directors, employees, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, claim, or liability arising from a Host’s participation in Hamilton Day. By registering, promoting, hosting, or otherwise participating as a Host, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Participant Terms & Conditions

Definition of a Participant
A Participant is any individual who attends, participates in, travels to or from, purchases from, registers for, or otherwise engages with a Hamilton Day promoted event, activity, experience, market, tour, sale, attraction, or community activation.
Role of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce acts solely as a promotional platform for participating organizations and businesses (“Hosts”). All Hamilton Day-promoted activities are independently owned and operated by their respective Hosts. Inclusion in Hamilton Day marketing materials does not imply that the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce organizes, manages, supervises, sponsors, or assumes responsibility for any Host activity.
Communications & Privacy
By registering for a Hamilton Day activity, contest, newsletter, or promotional opportunity, you consent to receive communications from Hamilton Day organizers by email and, where applicable, through social media channels. Information collected may be used to administer Hamilton Day activities, provide event updates, share promotional opportunities, and evaluate program participation. The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is committed to protecting personal information and will handle all information collected in a responsible manner and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for reviewing any information provided by a Host and determining whether an activity is suitable for their interests and circumstances. Any questions, concerns, complaints, refund requests, or disputes relating to an event, activity, purchase, or experience must be directed to the applicable Host and not to the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
Limitation of Liability & Acceptance
Participation in Hamilton Day activities is voluntary and at your own risk. The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, its directors, employees, volunteers, and representatives shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, expense, delay, cancellation, purchase, transaction, claim, or incident arising from participation in any Hamilton Day-promoted activity, including travel to and from an event location.
By attending, participating in, purchasing from, registering for, or otherwise engaging with any Hamilton Day-promoted activity, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
